IRS2Go experienced a decline in weekly downloads throughout the quarter. Starting from approximately 81.6K downloads at the end of March, the numbers dropped steadily, reaching around 19.5K by the end of June. Despite this, the app maintained a high level of weekly active users, peaking at about 1.5M in mid-April and gradually decreasing to 1.2M by the end of June.
TurboTax: File Your Tax Return showed a significant fluctuation in downloads. Weekly downloads peaked at around 91.3K in mid-April but dropped to approximately 3.6K by the end of June. The app's active users followed a similar trend, with a peak of around 561K in early April, decreasing to about 298K by the end of the quarter.
MyBlock had a steady decline in weekly downloads, starting from 17.8K at the end of March and dropping to about 2K by the end of June. The app’s active users saw a peak of approximately 63.9K in mid-April, with a gradual decline to around 31.5K by the end of the quarter.
H&R Block Tax Prep: File Taxes showed a similar pattern with its downloads starting at around 4.8K at the end of March and decreasing to just 113 by early May. Active users peaked at about 5.3K in mid-April and dropped to roughly 810 by the end of June.
Lastly, Keeper maintained relatively low but consistent download numbers. Weekly downloads hovered around 1.7K at the start of the quarter and decreased to just 219 by late May.
